On Wednesday 25 March 2026, CASINO 2000 hosted the FC Metz partners’ gala evening at Le Chapito, bringing together nearly 500 guests to celebrate the Metz club.
In a packed hall, partners, institutional representatives and guests met up with players from the men’s and women’s teams, who were there to share this moment away from the pitch. It was another way of bringing the club to life, in a different setting, yet always connected to its current affairs and the season.
A highlight for FC Metz and its partners
For one evening, FC Metz brought together those who support the club throughout the season.
In the hall, partners, players and guests quickly set aside the formal setting. Football was the obvious topic of conversation: the latest matches, those to come, and the current momentum.
The club’s day-to-day affairs were discussed with clarity, balancing high standards with a desire to bounce back. There was a palpable sense of genuine attachment and closeness to the team and what it represents.
As the conversation unfolded, it was the Grenats who took centre stage, with discussions ranging from the season so far to expectations for the future.
Several speeches provided structure to the evening, notably those by President Bernard Serin and former President Carlo Molinari, two key figures in the club’s history. These eagerly awaited addresses helped put FC Metz’s journey and ambitions into perspective.
The presence of representatives from the Professional Football League is part of this continuity: that of a club fully immersed in professional football, with its demands and its pace, week after week.

Beyond the pitch: a committed club
The evening also featured a round-table discussion on corporate social responsibility (CSR), a subject now central to the club’s development.
This discussion highlighted the work carried out on a daily basis by the FC Metz teams, far beyond the sporting arena. Training, local engagement, social initiatives: all these aspects contribute to the club’s identity and its roots in the community.
Between emotions and moments of wonder
Throughout the evening, certain moments left a lasting impression, starting with a performance by pianist John-Frédéric Lippis, who offered a special, almost timeless moment at the heart of the event.
Another highlight: the screening of a surprise video featuring one of the club’s iconic players. A message that immediately sparked a reaction from the audience and fuelled speculation about an announcement expected in the coming days.

Le Chapito: when football steps outside the stadium
Le Chapito is not just a venue for shows. Throughout the year, it hosts a variety of events, from concerts to B2B gatherings, revealing different facets of the venue.
The FC Metz evening was part of this tradition, an event where football took centre stage without disrupting the venue’s natural balance.
