Spicy Tropical: exoticism and intensity
Spicy Tropical is based on spiced rum, which adds depth and warm roundness. Pineapple and orange juice are added to this base, with generous and bright notes, creating a tropical flavour. Lemon then adds a distinct tension: a citrus freshness that balances the sweetness of the fruit and prolongs the tasting experience. A touch of grenadine completes the ensemble by rounding out the flavours without weighing down the composition.
Served with a sprig of mint and a slice of lemon, the cocktail also plays on contrasts: a fruity attack, a livelier mid-palate, then a finish where the spices express themselves with restraint. An accessible blend, but assertive enough to appeal to those who appreciate sunny cocktails.
