It was during this period that he truly developed a passion for the world of cocktails and began shaping his own distinctive approach, which he likes to describe as a form of “liquid gastronomy”.

Pierre Munier then went on to broaden his experience across France, Luxembourg and Belgium. Throughout his career, he has worked in environments where creativity, technical expertise, precision and a strong sense of hospitality are essential. This wide range of experiences has gradually allowed him to build a distinctive identity and develop a unique vision of the bartender’s profession.

Thanks to his creativity and remarkable technical mastery, Pierre Munier has established himself as one of the leading names in international mixology. In 2024, he first won the French Cocktail Championship. Then, in November 2025, he reached another major milestone by becoming World Champion at the International Bartenders Association World Cocktail Championship, held in Cartagena, Colombia.

Yet beyond titles and competitions, Pierre Munier is above all committed to a particular philosophy of cocktail-making. In his view, a successful creation should be balanced, easy to understand and capable of creating genuine emotion.
